Finally, the new Nike+ heartrate monitor has come out. It would be nice to read any impressions about it if anybody in this forum had the chance to try this new gadget.

I don't know if Nike+ Web Heartrate Graphs are as awful as the PaceGraphs. Maybe Mr rlerdorf plans to add this new feature to Slowgeed Web.

Sorry folks, Slowgeek was offline or slightly broken twice in the past couple of days. The first was due to a kernel upgrade issue and the second was due a configuration mistake moving the site behind a new service called CloudFlare. The positive side of this is that the site should now load a bit faster.

I set an arbitrary cut-off today of 14 months. If someone hasn't run for the past 14 months, I deleted their data from Slowgeek. That still leaves 70482 accounts. The reason being that it takes forever to check the Nike backend for new runs for 90k users. I do prioritize it, so people who have a Slowgeek password get priority and also accounts whose profiles are being checked regularly get a higher priority. But, I still need to check them all eventually.

I have added "Pace over time" and "Yearly" distance graphs to the Summary Graphs Tab on the profile page. The yearly graph looks a bit silly for people with a short Nike+ running history, but it looks ok once you have a couple of years worth of runs. Have a look at mine at http://slowgeek.com/pr/rlerdorf and click on the "Summary Graphs" tab.

Your shoe tracker is a great tool rlerdorf.
Could it be technically possible to activate a multiple shoes tracker, for those like me who use different pair of shoes in the same time. It's just a suggestion.

Ok, did a bit of afternoon/evening hacking today and we have the start of a friends feature. If you are logged in you should now see a little under the person's avatar image on their profile page that you can click to add them as a friend. Similarly, once added as a friend you will see a which you can use if they are no longer your BFF.

The friends get no notice of adds or deletes right now, and they don't need to agree to be your friend. The only thing this does right now is populate the "Friends" tab on your profile page with the last 10 runs from your friends. I'll probably layer some more interesting things on top of this. Ideas are welcome.

I spent a couple of hours tonight adding a shoe tracker. Hopefully it is quite obvious how to make it go. Let me know if you have any problems with it.

And yes, you do of course have to be logged in to configure it.

You can now edit individual run descriptions and also mark a run as an indoor run on the run page.
Just click on the description and you will get a little textfield. It looks like this:

Same for the Indoor thing. Click on the temperature cell for a run, and toggle the check button there:

I have added a user settings dialog below your id on your main page. The main thing that lets you do right now is change your weather station and your units.

Click on the little icon with guy holding the pencil there to bring it up. You have to be logged in to see it, of course. Your home timezone currently isn't used anywhere, but I'll need it for the weekly, monthly and yearly summary pages so I can end the periods correctly based on your timezone, so make sure it is set correctly for you.
